1. Who you are contracting with
Lily&Luna is a digital service that helps private individuals keep track of paperwork, deadlines and the practical steps involved in living in or moving to Spain. The service is provided by the service owner named on the contact page.
By creating an account you enter into an agreement with us on these terms. You must be at least 18 years old.
The service was previously called LilyLuna. It is the same service, the same provider and the same terms — only the way the name is written has changed.
2. What Lily&Luna is
Lily&Luna gathers your information in one place, explains what a document means, shows which deadlines apply, and suggests the order of the steps. The service is a reference and overview tool.
Parts of the content are written or assembled with machine learning. Articles and guides on the public pages are read and approved by a named responsible editor before they are shown.
Inside the app you meet two helpers, Lily and Luna. They are not people. Luna watches your deadlines, and everything she says is written by us in advance. Lily shows the way and explains; in the conversation, Lily answers with artificial intelligence, on the spot. Lily and Luna only speak inside the app: they never send you email or text messages, never a payment link, and they never ask you for account numbers, passwords or codes. If you receive anything like that in their name, it is not from us.
One email the service sends itself, and only when you ask for it. If you sign in with your email address, we send a six-digit code to that exact address. You type the code into Lily&Luna, on the screen you are already on. You should never give it to anyone else — not on the phone, not in a reply to an email, not to someone who says they are calling from us. We never call you, and we never ask you for the code. If a code arrives that you did not ask for, someone else is trying to sign in as you: ignore it, and do not pass it on.
Three things are NOT pre-approved by a human:
- Answers from Lily in the conversation, which are generated on the spot.
- Local days in the calendar — public holidays, market days and festivals
for the place you live. These are gathered automatically from official gazettes and from municipalities' own pages. Every day shows where it came from and how certain the information is, and you can always check the source yourself. We fetch only from sources we have designated in advance, and discard anything that does not match what we asked for — but no one reads it through before you see it.
- The "Local" page — information about the municipality you live in, and
links to local newspapers there. Facts are gathered from public registers, and every fact shows its source and date: where it came from, and when it was last checked. A piece of information can still be out of date, and you should check it against the source shown with it. Local newspapers are third parties. We show their name and a link to them, and we are not responsible for what is written there. No one reads it through before you see it.
So never rely on a day in the calendar as your only basis for meeting a deadline or travelling somewhere. Check it against the source shown with it.
3. What Lily&Luna is not
These are the four limits the service never crosses:
- We do not give financial advice. Lily&Luna does not give investment, pension, currency, lending or tax planning advice. The content is general information, not a recommendation about what to do with your assets.
- We are not a lawyer or gestor. Lily&Luna explains rules, deadlines and what a document means. We do not assess your individual case legally, do not act before public authorities, and do not replace a professional.
- We do not draw conclusions about tax. Lily&Luna does not state where you are tax resident, what you owe, or how you should file. That requires a Spanish tax adviser.
- We never promise an outcome. No promise that an application is approved, that a deadline holds, or that the content is current for your municipality or office. Public appointments are always free, and approval is never guaranteed.
If you need a binding assessment of your case, use a lawyer, a gestor or a tax adviser. Lily&Luna cannot act on your behalf before Spanish or Norwegian authorities, and does not submit applications for you.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, and for updating it when something changes. Lily&Luna calculates from what you provide. If the basis is wrong, the answer is wrong.
Deadlines and rules in Spain vary between regions, municipalities and individual offices, and they change. Always check a deadline against the official source before acting on it. Lily&Luna marks where a piece of information comes from, and you should read that marking.
5. Account and security
You choose a password only you know. You are responsible for activity on your account. If you discover that someone else has gained access, tell us immediately and change your password.
We may close an account used to break the law, to upload other people's documents without a basis, or to load the service in a way that harms other users.
6. Documents you upload
Documents you upload are stored encrypted. They are scanned for malware before they become available. A document that cannot be scanned stays in quarantine rather than being let through.
You decide what is shared with others in your household. Sharing is a separate action you take deliberately; nothing is shared automatically.
You can delete a document at any time. Deletion is final.
7. What we do with personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy notice, which forms part of this agreement. It states which data we process, why, for how long, and what rights you have.
8. Price
Basic use of Lily&Luna is free. If parts of the service become paid, you are told the price before you order, and you order actively. Nothing starts costing money on its own.
Public appointments and forms with Spanish authorities are free. If you pay Lily&Luna, you pay for the overview and the work — never for access to something the public sector gives away.
9. Right of withdrawal
If you buy a paid service as a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Norwegian consumer law. If you ask us to start the work before the withdrawal period ends, you may be charged for what has already been carried out. We ask you about this explicitly before the work starts.
10. Availability and interruptions
We work to keep the service available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, faults at subcontractors and events outside our control may cause interruptions. You should not make Lily&Luna your only source for a deadline that has serious consequences if missed.
11. Our liability
We are liable for loss caused by our negligence, as mandatory consumer legislation requires. We are not liable for:
- consequences of you providing incorrect or outdated information,
- decisions made by Spanish or Norwegian authorities,
- a public rule or deadline having changed,
- loss arising because you acted without checking against the official source.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence or personal injury, and nothing limits rights you have under mandatory law.
12. Changes to the terms
The terms are versioned. Each version has a number, an effective date and a named responsible editor.
A material change — one that alters your rights or obligations — requires you to accept again the next time you sign in. A minor change, such as language editing or fixing a link, does not require new consent.
You can always see which version you accepted, and read earlier versions.
13. Termination
You may terminate at any time by deleting your account. Your data is then deleted as described in the privacy notice. Documentation of which terms you accepted is retained for as long as we are legally required to keep it, because it is your evidence as much as ours.
14. Governing law and disputes
The agreement is governed by Norwegian law. If you are a consumer, you do not lose the protection you have under mandatory rules in the country where you live.
If you disagree with us, contact us first. If we do not reach agreement, you may complain to the Norwegian Consumer Authority, or bring the matter before the ordinary courts.
Contact details are on the support page. We answer in Norwegian, English and Spanish.
